Support Options

Our goal is to provide excellent support to our valued NROC members. We provide multiple access points for members to find online documentation and get live assistance.

By using these official NROC channels for support, your faculty and staff will get the most accurate, up-to-date information NROC has available, as well as the most expeditious support our staff can provide.

Help Center

NROC Help Center – NROCnetwork.org/support

At the NROC Help Center, you will find our Knowledge Base which includes detailed articles and FAQs covering all aspects of NROC membership, NROC course offerings, and NROC tools.  Visit the help center to Submit a Help Request which provides a direct route to our support staff.  We provide assistance with issues including technical, implementation, editorial, and membership questions or problems.

Office Hours

LIVE HELP EVERY DAY – Our Implementation and Support Team hosts daily Office Hours where instructors and administrators can come for live help and advice.  Periodically during Office Hours we also have PD sessions on topics of interest to our members. We use a GoToMeeting® web conferencing room, so you have the option to share your screen for targeted assistance with any problems you encounter.

NROC Community

NROC Community – NROCnetwork.org/community

The NROC Community is for all members who want to learn, share ideas, help each other, and work together to improve educational opportunities for everyone. You can reach out to other members for advice, share your experiences, and help answer others’ questions. We have many special interest groups available, or you may wish to host your own. The Community is monitored by NROC staff, but we encourage members to communicate and help one another.

EdReady Help

EdReady – “Need Help?” button available at all times.

On every page of the EdReady website, there is a floating tab on the left side of the screen that says “Need Help?”. Clicking this tab will open an interface where you can ask your question, search our Knowledge Base, and request additional assistance from NROC if you do not locate the answer you need. This option is available to administrators, instructors, and students. Search results will be relevant to the section of EdReady you are working in when you click the Need Help tab.

EdReady Help Center – Support.edready.org

At the EdReady Help Center, you will find our Knowledge Base articles and FAQs covering all aspects of EdReady.  In addition, you will find release notes on EdReady updates, the student user guide, and articles on such topics as using the reporting capabilities of EdReady.

Local Support

Local Support – On your campus.

Your local LMS Administrator or NROC Project Manager is your first point of contact if you need help with anything related to NROC. If they are unable to help you directly, you may Submit a Help Request. If you do not know who your NROC Project Manager is, you may contact us and we will find out for you.

NROC Network

The NROC Network is the main source of information for our members.  Most resources are available without logging in but we encourage members to create an account so they can actively participate in the Community.

Instructors without Access

In most cases, standard access to the NROC Network and your own LMS is sufficient for finding the resources you need. Instructor and student guides can be found within the course after it is installed in your LMS. EdReady support is available within the site or through special training resources. Secure resources are only needed by administrative or technical personnel for installing courses in your LMS, or for distributing resources that contain secure content such as answer keys. The NROC Project Manager for your state or institution determines who has access to secure resources. If you do not know who your NROC Project Manager is, you may contact us and we will find out for you.

The NROC Network – Secure Access (Login Required) – NROCnetwork.org/

For those with secure login access to the NROC Network, additional resources are available, including technical support tickets, course installation files, assessments, and supplemental resources for classroom use. If you do not have secure access, please see your NROC Project Manager or LMS Administrator to retrieve secure files.
